What is your name, job title, and the problem you get paid to solve for our customers?
Hi, I’m Clive Wing and I’m the go-to-market lead and senior product manager for the Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) partnership. I’m responsible for ensuring multi-market commercial customers (new and existing customers) can efficiently and consistently across markets, manage their customers, suppliers, and investors from a financial, compliance, regulatory, and risk perspective.
The partnership between Equifax and Dun & Bradstreet is a major strategic move for our business across Australia and New Zealand. From your perspective, how would you describe this partnership and the journey that led to you becoming involved?
There are two parts to the D&B partnership.
- The first is that Equifax will provide D&B with its suite of commercial data in Australia and New Zealand. We have built a pipeline for Equifax commercial data to be plugged into D&B’s global data lake.
- The second component is our rights to sell D&B’s suite of four global commercial products in Australia and New Zealand.
I got involved in the project as the ANZ business worked through the details of how we could maximise the potential of the reselling of D&B’s global products across ANZ. As the D&B go-to-market lead, I’ve been working with a wide range of stakeholders to work out D&B product market fit, GTM strategy and delivery in market.
This partnership represents a step change in how we serve clients with global data and analytics. What aspects of the project made you personally excited to contribute and stay close to every detail?
There are so many but the main one was that this partnership will transform our ability to provide truly global commercial services in ANZ. For example as supply chains and investors continue to become more global in nature, purely domestic approaches become less suitable for many businesses. Having consistent data on 220+ markets is more than compelling, it's essential to businesses with multi-market exposure. Especially as regulators demand greater insight into where money flows and risks sit.

Looking ahead, what makes this partnership such a compelling opportunity for our people and their career growth at Equifax?
Looking ahead, this partnership offers incredible opportunities for our teams to learn and grow. We’re working on the leading edge of data innovation, moving towards an AI-first approach to commercial data that will redefine how our clients operate.
For those involved — whether in data delivery or product strategy — this is a unique chance to develop cross-functional expertise. Collaborating on a project of this scale allows team members to deepen their understanding of global data standards and AI-driven product delivery. It’s a rewarding environment for anyone looking to build a career at the intersection of global data and local expertise, contributing to work that genuinely transforms our industry.
If you could go back to the day you started at Equifax and give yourself one single, non-technical piece of advice, what would that personal wisdom be?
Remember to bring sunglasses. The view from the Sydney office hub is great, though on a sunny day, I think you need the option to wear your sunnies.
Clive’s journey shows that every person here has the chance to contribute their unique skills to innovative, strategic projects that truly matter. We believe in the power of our people.
