Synopsis of the Role
Strategic executive leader with dual reporting lines to the President, Equifax Canada, and the SVP, Chief Data & Innovation Officer. Responsible for bridging enterprise strategy, stakeholder engagement, investment prioritization, and new business incubation to drive long-term growth and organizational alignment.
What You'll Do
Act as the Chief of Staff for the Country President
- Lead and own the cross-functional alignment and preparation for internal and external engagements, ensuring cohesive messaging, and high standard of executive readiness.
- Manage MBR & QBR content creation including key themes and messaging.
- Drive follow-through on leadership team decisions, including clear owners, timelines, milestones and escalation paths.
- Coordinate public engagements and the development of thought leadership and white papers.
- Coordinate CLT ( Canada Leadership Team) meeting agenda & preparation
Lead the Canadian long term strategy
- Oversee and manage M&A activity, driving strategic evaluation, due diligence, and execution and post-acquisition integration in partnership with senior leadership
- Develop and manage and lead the annual strategy playbook process.
- Lead the annual business planning process detailing key initiatives and priorities.
- Own and drive the Canada strategic performance agenda, through quarterly scorecard to drive leadership focus on strategic priorities, identify risks and ensure timely decisions and interventions to deliver business outcomes.
- Lead the annual investment envelope planning process to ensure the appropriate projects are prioritized and funded in partnership with CLT members.
Incubate new business lines
- Drive the strategy and launch for new business lines as outlined in the strategy playbook.
- Lead agile squads to build out the appropriate operational support including any Product codes, onboarding and Sales material.
- Manage the initial research and voice of customers within strategic initiatives.
- Incubate new businesses such as Income Verification, Open Banking, Insurance, Gaming, and develop opportunities to scale successful pilots and ensure appropriate transition from incubation into a sustainable and profitable operating model.
What Could Set You Apart
- 20+ years of progressive experience in strategy, business transformation in financial services or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Strategy or related discipline.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience serving as a Chief of Staff, strategic advisor, senior enterprise program leader, supporting the President and/or Executive leadership team.
- Results oriented, can set clear expectations, coach and develop a high performing team, and hold them accountable for delivering results.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity, create clarity where none exists and turn evolving priorities into focused actions.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and strategic investment.
- Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear messages, recommendations and decisions.
This is an Existing role
This role has a base salary range of $192,928 - $253,218 The final salary selected from this range is dependent on the location of the role as well as the experiences & capabilities of the candidate selected.
