Synopsis of the Role :

We are looking for a high-calibre strategy professional to join the strategy function and support enterprise growth initiatives, strategic planning, market expansion, and partnership development. The role requires a strong blend of structured problem-solving, business research, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
 

The individual will work closely with leadership teams on evaluating market opportunities, assessing competitive landscapes, identifying growth levers, developing strategic recommendations, and supporting execution of key initiatives across the credit, data, analytics, and fintech ecosystem.
This role is suited for someone who combines consulting-style thinking with strong commercial orientation and the ability to independently drive high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do
The individual will be expected to contribute across multiple dimensions of strategy formulation and execution, including:
Strategic Research & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct deep-dive research on industries, market trends, emerging business models, regulatory developments, and competitive ecosystems
  • Analyze domestic and global use cases across credit bureaus, fintechs, banks, NBFCs, alternate data providers, digital commerce, and analytics businesses
  • Develop market sizing, opportunity assessment, and benchmarking studies
  • Track competitor movements, product innovations, partnerships, and GTM strategies

Business Strategy & Growth Initiatives

  • Support development of strategic roadmaps for new business opportunities and growth initiatives
  • Evaluate potential partnership opportunities, alliances, ecosystem plays, and inorganic opportunities
  • Build business cases, commercial assessments, and strategic hypotheses for leadership review
  • Assist in formulation of go-to-market strategies and operating models

Executive Communication & Problem Solving

  • Prepare high-quality presentations, strategy papers, executive notes, and leadership updates
  • Structure complex business problems into actionable frameworks and recommendations
  • Synthesize large volumes of information into concise and insightful narratives
  • Support leadership discussions through data-backed insights and strategic analysis

Cross-functional Execution Support

  • Coordinate with business, product, analytics, technology, and external stakeholders for execution of strategic initiatives
  • Track strategic programs and support governance mechanisms
  • Assist in translating strategy into measurable execution plans and outcome

What experience you need

  • MBA from Tier-1 institutions
  • Strong academic background in business, economics, engineering, finance, or related disciplines
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in:Strategy consulting/Corporate strategy/ Business consulting /fintech / banking / NBFC / credit bureau ecosystem
  • Analytics-led business environments

Core Skills 

  • Strong research and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent understanding of business and consulting frameworks
  • Ability to independently structure and solve ambiguous business problems
  • Strong PowerPoint and storytelling skills with executive presence
  • Proficiency in market assessment, competitor analysis, and business model evaluation
  • Strong understanding of financial services, credit ecosystem, fintechs, and digital data businesses
  • Ability to work across multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Exposure

  • Experience working on growth strategy, partnerships, GTM, or transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with credit bureaus, alternate data, underwriting ecosystems, digital lending, or B2B data businesses
  • Exposure to leadership-facing roles and CXO communication
