Equifax is seeking a creative, high-energy, and driven Software Engineer. In this role, you will perform routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression. You will be expected to organize your own work, following established processes or work plans and taking direction from others. This position requires you to analyze discrete sets of information in routine situations and use existing procedures to make routine decisions
What you’ll do

Workflow & Automation Development: Perform routine application development activities under general supervision, including unit testing and code deployment, and follow instructions to contribute to software written by team members.

Orchestration & HITL: Assist in implementing orchestration and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) processes utilizing UiPath Maestro, organizing your own work by following established processes and taking direction from others.

Agent Development: Support the design, build, and integration of intelligent agents and custom solutions utilizing Langchain and Google Cloud ADK for small systems or modules by applying basic principles of software engineering.

System Integration: Work collaboratively with immediate team members and across teams to integrate our systems with existing corporate product platforms, Data Fabric, and CSA Toolset.

Operational Excellence: Assist in triaging product or system issues by analyzing discrete sets of information in routine situations to debug, track, and resolve errors.

Agile Collaboration: Participate in a tight-knit engineering team employing agile software development practices, managing the timely delivery of assigned engineering tasks and reporting your status within agile ceremonies.

Technical Documentation: Produce technical documentation for small systems or modules so that any other developer is able to dive into the codebase with minimal effort.
What experience you need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

6 months+ experience with Java software programming experience.

6 months+ experience with Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
What could set you apart

Self-starter that identifies/responds to priority shifts with minimal supervision.

UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Angular and Bootstrap).

Experience with backend technologies such as JAVA/J2EE, SpringBoot, SOA and Microservices.

Source code control management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, Github) and build tools like Maven & Gradle.

Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP).
-
Relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL).

Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Github).

Developing with modern JDK (v1.7+).

Automated Testing: JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI.

Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred
