The Director of Finance, Corporate Technology, serves as a strategic finance leader for the Global Platforms organization. This pivotal role partners closely with executive business leaders to deliver concise, relevant, and insightful financial information that enables informed decision making and ensures achievement of short- and long-term strategic and financial objectives. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Technology Finance, this leader builds and maintains highly collaborative, advisory relationships across Corporate Technology and the broader Equifax Enterprise.
What you’ll do
- Advises, consults and strategically supports the Corporate Technology Business Unit in all areas related to financial performance. Provides proactive financial partnership to Technology leaders to drive decision making, identify business issues, highlight opportunities and improve execution.
- Leads budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning activities for multiple Corporate Technology segments. Builds monthly operating forecasts, capex outlooks and annual financial plans to project, track, and analyze business performance.
- Builds detailed drivers-based financial models to evaluate new technology initiatives and existing business cases/programs. Leverages the models to drive technology investment discussions and make cost optimization recommendations.
- Utilizes broad expertise and specialized knowledge within the Technology industry, specifically advising technology business partners on highly complex, global cloud-based transformations and Artificial Intelligence programs.
- Develops advanced financial reporting and analytics to track and manage AI, Cloud, Software, Hardware, Labor, Capex, Depreciation and G&A spend globally. Develops reports that go beyond the P&L to convey key business drivers, trends and action items to key stakeholders.
- Evaluates, implements and manages technology cost allocations and proactively communicates changes and financial impacts to business unit stakeholders.
- Leads monthly financial reviews with business leadership to discuss performance and establish action plans. Prepares and presents high-quality executive presentations for technology and finance leadership.
- Partners closely with Accounting, Procurement, Legal, Tax, Corporate Finance and other Equifax teams to achieve organizational goals and optimize costs.
What experience you need
- 6 - 8 years of progressive of FP&A and/or corporate finance experience, with a proven track record of partnering with executive leaders.
- 2+ years of experience directly supporting technology, product, engineering or security teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing both operating and capital budgets
- Bachelors or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- Proficiency in advanced finance tools/software including Oracle, Tableau, Hyperion and other software.
What could set you apart
- Industry Experience: Previous experience working within a financial services, FinTech, Data Analytics, Cloud or Technology-as-a-Service organization.
- Fluency or Familiarity with cloud technology, AI tools and frameworks and finOps optimization strategies
- Advanced Credentials: MBA or CFA designation.
- Familiarity with Technology Business Management strategies and frameworks.
