Equifax is seeking a creative, high-energy, and driven Software Engineer with hands-on skills to design, build, and orchestrate complex automated workflows. In this role, you will require knowledge and experience in your own discipline to identify and solve a range of problems in straightforward situations, prioritizing your own work to meet deadlines and deliver quality results. Our team is focused on meaningful projects, giving you the opportunity to work with leading-edge automation and cloud technology, specifically Google Cloud ADK and UiPath Maestro. You are ideal for this position if you are a forward-thinking, committed, and enthusiastic engineer passionate about building scalable orchestration and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) solutions.
What you’ll do

Workflow & Automation Development: Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment, and making contributions to unfamiliar code written by team members.

Orchestration & HITL: Implement orchestration and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) processes utilizing UiPath Maestro to ensure seamless handoffs between automated tasks and human decision-makers.

Agent Development: Design, build, and integrate intelligent agents and custom solutions utilizing Langchain and Google Cloud ADK to support scalable, cloud-native automation workloads.

System Integration: Work across teams to integrate our systems with existing internal systems, Data Fabric, and CSA Toolset.

Operational Excellence: Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on network, or service operations and quality.

Agile Collaboration: Participate in the estimation process, use case specifications, reviews of test plans, and work within a tight-knit engineering team employing agile software development practices.

Technical Documentation: Document code and processes so that any other developer is able to dive in with minimal effort.
What experience you need
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
-
2+ years experience working with software design and UiPath, Python and Javascript programming languages.

Hands-on experience or working knowledge of orchestrating complex workflows using UiPath (specifically UiPath Maestro or RPA).

Experience building and extending solutions utilizing Google Cloud ADK and Langchain.
-
2+ years experience with HTML, CSS and frontend/web development.

2+ years experience with software build management tools like Maven or Gradle.

2+ years experience with software testing, performance, and quality engineering techniques and strategies.

2+ years experience with Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Self-starter that identifies/responds to priority shifts with minimal supervision.

UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Angular and Bootstrap).

Experience with backend technologies such as JAVA/J2EE, SpringBoot, SOA and Microservices.

Source code control management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, Github) and build tools like Maven & Gradle.

Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP).

Relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL).

Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Github).

Developing with modern JDK (v1.7+).

Automated Testing: JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI.
