The Director of Revenue Operations in Costa Rica is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing a multi-disciplinary team that serves as the operational engine for our global revenue lifecycle. This role focuses on the strategic integration of Business and Finance Operations, leveraging advanced Automation and Business Intelligence (BI) to drive organizational efficiency.
This leader will ensure that financial and operational workflows are streamlined, data-driven insights are actionable, and automation initiatives are prioritized to scale our global business units and enhance financial precision.
Responsibilities

Routine Operations: Manage day-to-day revenue cycle processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate policies and alignment with EWS Finance St. Louis-based leadership team.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and guide a diverse RevOps team, cultivating an environment of accountability and collaboration while providing the coaching necessary to execute day-to-day operations and automation projects.

Ad-hoc Requests: Lead the response to urgent, non-recurring business inquiries and special projects, providing analytical support and cross-functional problem-solving.

Operational Support: Provide comprehensive support to global business units by identifying bottlenecks, implementing process improvements, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

SOPs Automation: Identify opportunities to digitize and automate standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reduce manual effort, increase throughput, and minimize errors.

OPH Changes planned: Oversee the implementation of OPH strategic changes, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to revenue operations.

BI Operations: Manage regular data processing and support ad-hoc BI requests using Tableau. Ensure accurate, timely data delivery and provide analytical support for cross-functional business questions.

Month-End / Qtr-end Support: Coordinate and execute period-end financial close activities, ensuring data integrity, reconciling accounts, and delivering timely financial reporting.

Audit and Reconciliation: Lead internal and external audit activities, ensuring rigorous reconciliation of financial data and maintaining robust internal controls.
Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Experience: 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing complex operations, finance, or business intelligence teams.

Global Expertise: Proven experience managing offshore or global teams, with a deep understanding of the unique cultural and operational nuances of the global market.

Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce), global billing systems (GFS/Oracle), and BI tools (Tableau).

Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to implement automation (RPA/AI) and process improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma) to drive organizational efficiency.
Preferred Skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish) with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster close cooperative relationships with executive leaders across Sales, Service, and Finance and across geographies.
