Operations Associate - Financial Viability

Join our Financial Viability business unit within Equifax Australasia Credit Ratings, where you will play a key role in providing essential financial assessments for businesses across Australia and New Zealand. You will act as a primary point of contact, liaising with company directors and financial professionals to secure market-sensitive information and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality assessment reports.

What you will do

  • Collect and procure critical data required for the production of financial assessment reports.

  • Conduct introductory phone calls and requests for information with company Directors, Accountants, or Financial Controllers.

  • Secure essential non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) for the analyst team.

  • Contact third-party referees to evaluate performance on similar engagements.

  • Log all details of customer and subject interactions accurately to maintain a clear audit trail.

  • Support the analyst team to manage and meet customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through efficient processing and follow-up.

  • Produce polished, timely correspondence for diverse stakeholders, ensuring professional brand consistency.

  • Identify and raise potential risks or issues to the Service Delivery Leader for support and/or escalation.

  • Provide administrative support to the Service Delivery Leader on workflow tasks within the scope of the role.

  • Develop a foundational understanding of the full product and service offerings available within the Financial Viability unit.

What experience do you need

  • Completion of HSC or an equivalent qualification.

  • Proven ability to source and handle sensitive information while maintaining strict confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated keyboard and software skills, including professional email management.

  • Experience managing multiple assignments with a high level of organization, attention to detail and time management.

What could set you apart

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume call centre environment.

  • Prior exposure to or understanding of operations processing centre workflows.

  • Specific experience in handling and resolving customer complaints.
