Synopsis of the role


The Bilingual Technical Support Specialist - L1 provides escalated technical support for clients accessing Equifax products and services via the Internet. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, explaining access methods, fulfillment, and activation. You will interact directly with customers to optimize their experience and gather feedback to help our product team enhance our offerings.

What you’ll do

  • Provide direct technical assistance via phone, email, and chat.

  • Distill client feedback and suggestions to drive product and service improvements.

  • Utilize our monitoring systems to gain exposure to a wide range of core technologies.

  • Maintain, update, distribute, and archive client agreements and process mapping documentation; assist with internet audits.

  • Stay up-to-date on product updates, and assist with onboarding and coaching team members.

  • Partner with Technology, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to share insights and take on new responsibilities within a growing business unit.


What experience you need

  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) to confidently communicate technical concepts with business and technical clients.

  • Strong understanding of core Internet technologies and basic Windows operation/administration.

  • Proven ability to prioritize operational tasks, project deliverables, and customer-impacting issues.

  • Highly motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with B2B, financial services, or the credit industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree, college diploma in Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

What could set you apart

  • Experience with G Suite products

  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms like ServiceNow

  • Proficiency in Jira

This is an existing position.

This role has a base salary range of $44,816 - $58,821 The final salary selected from this range is dependent on the location of the role as well as the experiences & capabilities of the candidate selected.
