Join our dynamic Fraud and ID team as a technical spearhead, where you will drive the evolution of cloud-native applications and reduce technical debt across our critical security segments. This role is pivotal in launching upcoming 2026 cloud migrations for Digital ID and IDM, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of identity management and protection. 

What you’ll do 

  • Lead the design and development of cloud-native, distributed microservice architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and GKE/Kubernetes. 

  • Directly manage and mentor a cross-functional team of approximately six engineers, fostering growth for both junior and senior talent. 

  • Take hands-on ownership of end-to-end production support, including the implementation of runbooks and technical documentation. 

  • Collaborate with Architects and SRE leads to define and maintain SLA, SLO, and SLIs that meet global engineering standards. 

  • Drive technical decision-making regarding product features, refactoring work, and End-of-Support-Life (EOSL) strategies. 

  • Ensure rigorous compliance with secure software development guidelines and maintain DevSec, QE, and FinOps KPIs. 

  • Oversee the deployment and release of software utilizing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Helm Charts, and Terraform. 

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning and Retrospectives, to ensure consistent delivery cycles. 

  • Execute R&D and Prototyping/PoCs for emerging cloud-native solutions and big data processing.

  • Act as a key technical liaison for internal and external stakeholders, simplifying complex architectural problems for business partners.
     

What experience you need 

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Java and Spring Boot architectures. 

  • Proven experience managing a small technical team (approx. 6 people) within a production support environment. 

  • Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically Dataflow, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub. 

  • Direct experience with monitoring and logging tools such as PagerDuty, ChaosSearch, and Splunk.

  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code concepts using Terraform and Kubernetes orchestration.

  • Experience leading Agile engineering teams and managing cross-functional project deliverables. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage full-lifecycle cloud migrations and distributed system deployments. 

What could set you apart

  • Current Cloud Certification (Professional Cloud Architect or Developer). 

  • Prior domain expertise in Fraud and Identity Management systems. 

  • Advanced knowledge of Big Data processing solutions using Apache Beam or Composer/Airflow. 

  • Strong background in Technical Debt reduction strategies within legacy-to-cloud transitions.
