Synopsis of the Role

As a Digital Marketing Specialist , you will serve as the engine behind our digital growth and brand presence. You aren’t just executing tactics; you are designing end-to-end buyer journeys that turn interest into action. This role focuses on leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud to optimize customer journeys, drive revenue growth, and ensure high standards of data security and compliance. Working independently with a high degree of autonomy, you will look at our existing digital framework and ask, "How can we make this smarter, more secure, and more effective?"

What you’ll do

  • Lead End-to-End Campaigns: Architect and execute integrated D2C digital marketing programs across web, email, SEM/SEO/AIO, social, and mobile to support lead acquisition and brand awareness. Design, build, and automate key email programs, including upsell/cross-sell initiatives, funnel recapture, and winback campaigns.

  • Optimize Marketing Automation: Own the integration and management of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, conceptualizing complex Journey Builder workflows, drip campaigns, and lead-scoring programs aligned with the buyer journey.

  • Journey Optimization: Strategically refresh product onboarding journeys, updating sequencing and content to maximize customer stickiness and long-term retention.

  • Drive Content Strategy: Collaborate with the Content Team to ensure high-performing assets are mapped to specific funnel stages and maintain the editorial calendar for web and intranet platforms.

  • Analyze & Pivot: Develop and manage performance dashboards and scorecards to analyze site metrics and campaign ROI, taking proactive action to optimize underperforming tactics.

  • Continuous Improvement: Research and implement best practices in personalization, A/B testing, and list-building to improve engagement rates and data quality.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a project lead to align regional and business unit objectives with global digital standards and brand guidelines.

  • Advanced Data Segmentation: Utilize SQL and Automation Studio to pull datasets for powerful audience segmentation.

  • Deliverability & Compliance: Proactively manage IP sender scores and reputation; ensure all communications strictly adhere to CASL compliance and consumer opt-in preferences.

What experience you need

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, specifically focused on D2C lead generation and brand awareness.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing and configuring Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Email Studio.

  • Proven track record of managing SEO/SEM strategies and multi-channel paid media budgets with a focus on conversion optimization.

  • Technical Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and the ability to build data-driven dashboards from scratch.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing lead scoring and automated nurture models that have directly impacted sales pipelines.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

What could set you apart

  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant or Email Specialist certifications.

  • Technical Scripting Skills: Experience using HTML, AMPscript or SQL to pull data extensions and personalize content within Marketing Cloud.

  • Project Management Expertise: Experience using tools like Workfront, Asana, or Jira to manage complex, cross-functional projects.

  • Advanced Data Visualization: Experience using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate marketing impact to executive leadership.

  • Direct-to-Consumer Sector Experience: Prior experience navigating the complexities of a large, matrixed D2C organizational structure.

This is an existing position

This role has a base salary range of $104,120 - $136,658 The final salary selected from this range is dependent on the location of the role as well as the experiences & capabilities of the candidate selected.
