Equifax is looking for a talented HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support across business functions within the Equifax US Information Solutions (USIS) business unit. The HRBP provides advice, counsel and support in the areas of talent management and development, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement, satisfaction and retention. The position formulates partnerships across multiple business functions and Human Resources to deliver value-added service to employees and managers that align with the business objectives. 

This position reports to the VP, Human Resources - USIS and can be located in our Midtown or Alpharetta, GA office. This position is in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What you’ll do:

  • Independently apply experienced HR, general change management, and organizational design knowledge to deliver solutions for complex business problems
  • Partner, engage, and coordinate the execution of HR programs including, but not limited to Merit, Talent Review, Performance Management, Employee Relations and other HR project activities
  • Provide performance management guidance to managers (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Research, prepare for, and advise on matters pertaining performance improvement plans
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations, including proper documentation
  • Actively guide managers and employees through organizational development, change initiatives, and other projects, including communication strategy, impact analysis, and risk mitigation
  • Partner with Human Resources Centers of Excellence to effectively manage all aspects of the employment life cycle including, but not limited to talent acquisition, on-boarding, learning and development, rewards and recognition, and off-boarding
  • Implement and support strategy and programs to improve employee engagement, satisfaction and retention
  • Manage mandatory training compliance
  • Participate in HR cross-functional and technical projects
  • Implement standardized HR processes
  • Facilitate communication between employees and/or among employees and management
  • Use a fair and objective perspective to guide others through problem-solving and conflict resolution processes
  • Provide input and support to HR leadership and outside counsel responding to external employment claims

What experience you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in the human resources field
  • 5+ years of experience as a HR Business Partner, which may include experience working in Talent Management or other HR related areas that include a high degree of collaboration, partnership, business understanding and strategic alignment
  • Working knowledge of compensation planning, organizational design, employee relations, employee development, performance management and general employment laws
  • Highly skilled in managing competing deadlines, influencing at all levels, exercising sound judgement and effectively managing conflict
  • Ability to Intuitively influence positively and manage conflict with approachability, tactfulness, sound judgment and discretion 
  • Ability to develop, attract, and assess talent

  • HR experience supporting Operations, Data & Analytics or Product teams
  • SHRM-CP Certification or PHR certification
  • Self-motivated, conscientious, demonstrates initiative, accountability and ownership of work and outcomes
  • Ability to build strong relationships and provide excellent customer service
  • Advanced presentation and spreadsheet skills
  • Experience using the Google Workspace (Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, Google Meet, Google Chat)
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and influence others
