From the moment you meet Pavithra (Pavi), you immediately feel her warmth and calm energy. Raised in Chennai, India, Pavi’s passion for philanthropy started at a young age, and when she came to the U.S. she kept that passion fueled by working in Georgia’s Tamil community.
“I speak an ancient language called Tamil, which is more than 2,000 years old. I am currently Volunteer President at Atlanta Tamil Mandram, and also volunteer for the Alpharetta Tamil School to teach our ancient language through dance and music.”
As an Equifax Project Manager, Pavi is an expert at balancing her work and her passion for volunteering. She was thrilled when she learned that our company encourages employees to give back to the community.
“Equifax has always been supportive of volunteering activities. There are two full days that we can avail as volunteer days. I have learnt how to ‘Live Your Best,’ by proudly showcasing our Equifax spirit at work and in our communities.”
And her dedication to giving back led her straight to the Governor’s Mansion.
“April 14th, 2023, was proclaimed by the Governor of Georgia as the Tamil New Year. On behalf of the Georgia Tamil speaking community and volunteers, we were invited to the Governor’s mansion to receive the proclamation.”
As she celebrated this incredible moment, she also thought of the incredible support she has at Equifax. From her work life to her personal life, her coworkers are there to support her through every moment.
“I am thankful to my entire Equifax team for always being there for me and ever encouraging of my work.”
