We are seeking an experienced leader to manage, oversee and coordinate efforts of a translations team who will be responsible for executing and delivering translations of high importance communications and documents to diverse audiences across the globe.
It is expected that this role also works closely with stakeholders at the Corporate Communications office and to partner with other stakeholders in different geographies to ensure quality of translations according to the delivery date. In addition to that, it is expected that this position will coordinate and execute better practices for translations, internal quality assurance and the application of lexiques and other resources to ensure compliance with external regulations related to communications. This role will report to the Operational Excellence Sr. Manager.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee and supervise the efforts and results done by the Translation team
- Revise and oversee the translation results across the team through collateral development and proofing in various techniques and technologies
- Provide translation services as required and revise, proofread, edit, standardize and organize material preserving the intent, tone of the original meaning, order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
- Research specific technical, scientific and business phraseology pertinent to assigned projects.
- Manage translation pipeline and provide visibility of resource capacity
- Negotiate and balance team workload towards managing projects and priorities according to stakeholder needs
- Report in regular basis results, roadblocks and other topics that would impact the translation delivery process
What experience you need:
- Bachelor degree or higher in Text translations or have a certification in this field
- 2+ years of experience managing Professional Translation teams
- 3+ years of experience as translator
- Spanish C2, English C1, Portuguese C1. (Belt)

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
- Desirable: proficiency in Camtasia (video editing)
- Desirable proficiency in art design but not required
- Proficient in G Suite platforms
