This individual will manage one or more USIS Regional/National accounts (or accounts of similar importance to the Mortgage Solutions business). He or she will ensure the overall health and growth of those customer relationships, by identifying, pursuing and closing opportunities that increase both revenue and profitability.
What you'll do

Achieve or exceed any revenue and profitability targets assigned via a book of business

Identify opportunities and close them to produce documented sales results which reflect consistency, territory growth, and client satisfaction

Identify/communicate industry trends and translate those into opportunities within one’s set of accounts

Utilize consultative sales strategies demonstrating effective questioning techniques, acquisition of new information, and insight into problems/needs of client to generate viable solutions which consider technical, analytical and organizational needs

Interact effectively and often with the greater USIS Mortgage/FSG/IES sales teams, obtaining their trust and confidence

Negotiate favorable deal terms and conditions, leveraging the support of all Equifax support personnel

Manage the overall relationship for select regional and national accounts and select targeted prospects, growing revenue across all product lines

Sell all EMS solutions; including Core Credit, UDM, Property Data and Analytics, CMS, Workforce Solutions, IXI, and other EFX solutions where allowed and applicable
What experience you need
-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, and five (5) to seven (7) years successful sales experience required

Extensive knowledge of the U.S. Mortgage and Banking industries from a sales & account management perspective

Senior management level contacts or existing relationships with banks, mortgage lenders and other financial institutions

Superior proven sales skills with a history of exceeding sales goals

Demonstrated experience formulating account sales plan(s), focusing on relationship, revenue and profitability growth; ensure goal attainment.

Leverage strategic relationship skills to engage (and become a trusted advisor to) the senior-most representatives of assigned accounts – for both new and existing customers -- drawing upon the support of Equifax management as needed.

Deep understanding of the mortgage lifecycle, mortgage value chain, and financial services regulatory environment; ability to monetize that knowledge through sale of products/services that address customer pain points and business needs.

Possess technical and analytical skills to create and recommend solutions to prospects to include financial analysis, ROI, and timelines.

Extremely adept at maintaining strong business relationships with contacts at all levels of our customer’s organizations; but in particular build and maintain effective working relationships with executive level contacts

Strong negotiation skills. Participates in and manages negotiation process with prospects

Must be able to clearly communicate to both internal and external stakeholders the different measures of value that customers obtain with our solutions

Ability to travel up to 75% or greater
What could set you apart

Experience in finance and/or financial services industry is preferred.

Ideal candidate will have either or all of the following: 1) extensive knowledge of the property data and/or credit reporting industry; 2) have mortgage and/or home equity lending experience; 3) have mortgage industry vendor experience and knowledge

Excellent questioning/investigative skills to uncover customer’s needs and creatively translate to EMS and Equifax solutions; must be able to quickly understand a client’s business processes and strategies.

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $92,000 to $138,000. This position is also eligible for our incentive compensation program.
