What you’ll do
-
Implementation of change request as per the business needs on router, switches or firewalls
-
Management and maintenance of networking devices such as router, switches, firewalls
-
Perform after hour activities e.g. Minor Version Upgrades
-
Engages with 3rd party vendors for support & escalation - Telco / Circuit Providers, Vendors for Hardware and Software Support
-
Provide assistance in deployment and related support on network management systems
-
Provide support for Private and public IP address allocation & firewall port open requests
-
Perform day to day operational task for MACD changes
-
Provides remote monitoring, management, troubleshooting and remediation of LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, LTM, GTM, WLC, WAPs and network connectivity
-
Provides network configuration backups of datacenter network devices & Clients network devices
-
Performs analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems
-
Support in integration of firewalls with other management systems
-
Provides good hands on support for the management tool like Tufin, NetBrain etc.

ITIL knowledge and ready to work in rotating shifts (24 X 7)
What experience you need
-
3-5 years of enterprise network experience.
-
3-5 years experience with LAN, WAN, and Network Firewalls and Proxies
-
Junior level experience with Routing (BGP, OSPF) and Switching (Spine & Leaf)
-
3-5 years experience with Network Optimization, Network Security (Firewalls & Proxies)
-
Experience working with ISP Provider like AT&T, Verizon, Lumen
-
Strong troubleshooting skills.
-
Ability to interpret network traces and utilize TCPDUMP to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
-
L2 Network Support Engineer who is familiar with the following.
-
Routing and Switching, Cisco, Juniper and Arista, Routing Protocol BGP, Firewall (Palo Preferred)
-
Juniper SRX
-
Palo Alto along with Panorama Management
-
CheckPoint Firewall - Provider 1 Environment
-
Management Tool: Tufin, NetBrain, Solarwinds
What could set you apart

Working knowledge of InfoBlox DNS solution, AWS Route 53, Google Cloud DNS
-
Working knowledge of F5 LTM; F5 & Akamai GTM
-
Good written, verbal, and documentation skills.

Good understanding of Multi-Regional availability, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
