The Data Steward will serve as the business unit’s subject matter expert for a particular domain within USIS’s broader data library. Candidates should be courageous, tenacious, creative, optimistic and curious, with an appetite for growth in business-minded leadership. This Atlanta (Georgia)-based role will report to the Data Stewardship Manager.
What you’ll do

Ensuring that the data is fit for purpose by increasing our speed to detect and remediate issues, improving data overall quality and better meeting the strategic needs of our customers

Providing expert-level support to internal and external stakeholders

Ensuring all aspects of the data domain are accurately and completely documented in our metadata tools
What experience you need
-
7+ years of relevant experience working at financial institutions or other data companies, possessing an in-depth knowledge of data structure, data handling and data management
-
7+ years of experience and demonstrated proficiency with data handling and quality tools and big data ecosystems (e.g., SQL, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery)

7+ years of experience with data and business insights analysis which identify and drive ongoing excellence in data quality practices

3+ years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire, Tableau)

3+ years of analysis experience in credit risk, telecommunications, financial services, marketing, fraud or insurance
