VP USIS Data - Data Quality Leader

The VP USIS Data - Data Quality Leader will design, implement and manage our data quality management program, bringing together existing teams and capabilities with modern tools, processes and techniques. Candidates should be courageous, tenacious, creative, optimistic and curious, and they should have a demonstrated track record of business-minded leadership.  This Atlanta (Georgia)-based role will report to the USIS Chief Data Officer. ​  

What you’ll do

• Consolidate and modernize our data governance, measurement and visualization, monitoring and incident management, and metadata capabilities.

• Champion a results-oriented culture by reducing data quality issues, increasing our speed to detect and remediate issues, and improve data quality overall.

• Work with other thought leaders and subject matter experts to harness the power of the cloud and emerging AI / ML techniques to create an industry-leading program.

What experience you need 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field

• 10+ years of experience in data management

• 4+ years of experience working in a Data Governance leadership role

• 2+ years of experience improving Data Quality

• Experience in developing data management rules, standards and business policies

• In-depth, cross-functional knowledge of enterprise data capabilities: data quality, data lineage, data catalog/glossary, metadata management (Collibra), and advanced data analysis solutions

• In-depth knowledge of industry-leading data governance, management, and protection practices

• Knowledge of data-related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues

• Analytics experience, e.g., data visualization, data analytics, data mining, business intelligence, preferred.

• Experience in data warehousing, data lakes in Cloud environments and master data management.

• The willingness to travel as needed, likely no more than 10% of the time.
