Equifax is looking to hire a Senior Auditor for Compliance. This individual will lead compliance audits and assessments across all business units and functions to test and evaluate the adequacy of compliance controls, and deliver audit reports that add value to the area audited and reinforce a culture of compliance. The position will be part of a compliance assurance team, and will manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables, as well as support other compliance initiatives.
The Senior Auditor, Compliance, will be a versatile team player, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic in addressing new challenges across the organization.
What You'll Do:

Lead and participate in testing of business processes with a focus on regulated business processes and security controls.

Partner with teams across Equifax to drive remediation of compliance issues identified during audits and assessments.

Maintain knowledge of business operations and emerging business practices.

Maintain knowledge of technical architecture and security best practices.

Maintain knowledge of applicable financial services regulations.
-
Manage metrics related to role and, where applicable, content for other leadership reports.

Perform and administer IT and Security audits to ensure efficiency accuracy cost

Execute control testing across various control areas, including IT General controls, security controls and application controls

Conduct compliance audits, including risk assessments, planning, audit program delivery, execution of audit procedures, identification of control gaps, development of remediation plans and communication of audit reports to senior management.
What Experience You'll Need:

Five (5) years minimum of auditing experience, preferably Big 4 or a mix of external and internal in the financial services industry.

Bachelor's degree required; degree in accounting, auditing, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a comparable discipline - a plus.

5 years IT and/ or information security technical abilities

Strong leadership and communication skills, technical knowledge and writing

Graduate degree - a plus.

FCRA experience

One or more of the following certifications strongly preferred: CPA, CIA, CRA, CISA, CRISC, CRMA, CFE, or equivalent

Operations and Information Technology audit experience - a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical partners, with focus on informing, influencing, and relationship building.

In-depth understanding of the financial services industry, including the regulatory landscape and consumer financial protection laws - a plus.

Experience interpreting financial services regulations - a plus.

Strong project management and coordination skills with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and run multiple projects.

Demonstrated partnering skills, with experience coordinating initiatives with partners in a multinational organization.
