Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads and prospect awareness for Efficient Hire's market sectors (Restaurants, Staffing, Senior Living, etc.) to assist Account Executives in pipeline generation and to maintain an accurate database in the company's CRM system. You will utilize principally outbound telemarketing techniques around a set territory or industry.

What you’ll do:

  • Proactively identify new prospects and business opportunities

  • Lay early foundation for long-term Customer/Partner Relationships

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails, identifying key decision makers, business pain points, the size of the opportunity, budget, and purchase timeframes.

  • Define and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth and meaningful customer value

  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services 

  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives

  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

  • Drive strong pipeline development and sales execution

What experience you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field strongly preferred.

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role

What could set you apart:

  • Must be able to quickly articulate business benefits and functionality of software solutions

  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls and outbound email marketing

  • Track record of achieving sales quotas

  • Experience with CRM software 

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills required

  • An ambitious person who takes the initiative and is eager to learn

  • Outstanding organizational skills
