Accounting Manager - Revenue Assurance

As the Finance Manager - Revenue Assurance, you will Manage a small team, exposed to large transactions and complex accounting in US GAAP.

This is a 12 month Maternity Cover - Fixed Term Contract

What You'll Do

  • Overall responsibility of revenue accounting for Equifax Ltd, TDX Group and Indesser following US accounting regulation

  • Management of the accounting for revenue generating projects within Equifax/TDX/Indesser

  • Management  and development of a team of 3 qualified and part qualified accountants

  • Preparation and presentation of month-end reports, commentaries and variance analysis to senior management - ensure application of revenue policy/GAAP principles 

  • Ownership of Revenue SOX controls adherence and reporting

  • Lead and coordinate with Auditors (Internal & External) for the revenue team. 

  • Accounting Partner to the Chief Commercial Officer and Sales Directors

  • Commercial acumen to influence contract structure and negotiations to ensure optimum recognition within SOX requirements

  • Lead and coordinate teams as required to resolve billing issues.

  • Management of the sales contract review process and input into customer opportunities and contracts.

  • Review and approval of monthly commission payments for the Equifax sales force

  • Support the FP&A team in forecasting and budgeting

  • Collaboration with EFX’s various outsource partners

  • Involvement with, and occasional leadership of, multi-functional projects and business initiatives beyond the revenue department 

  • Lead the production of customer invoices and management of authorization workflows

  • Other accounting duties commensurate with the role as defined by the Financial Controller

What Experience You'll Need

  • Knowledge of financial services industry – essential 

  • US GAAP – an advantage

  • Excel – essential 

  • Oracle R12 – essential 

  • Essbase/Hyperion - an advantage

  • High level of numeracy and accuracy is required to perform this role

  • Should have at least five years working in a management accounting or professional environment

  • Worked for a large US corporation - an advantage 

  • Proven people manager.
