General Manager, Identity Theft Protection


The General Manager, Identity Theft Protection has P&L responsibility for ID Watchdog and the Employer Services Identity Theft Protection business.  The GM will be responsible for directly leading the Sales, Client Success, Product, Marketing, and Client Implementation teams.  In addition, this role will partner with peers to ensure Technology, Security, Operations and Finance needs are met and enhanced.  The focus of this leadership role will be to strengthen current client relationships, deliver financial growth and continuously improve the product and service delivery.  This leader will have proven experience in driving growth, improving margins and technology innovation & transformation. This position will operate as a member of the Employer Services and Talent Solution team and report directly to the Vice President of Employer Services. This is a high visibility role that requires partnering and influencing leaders and employees across all levels and functions at Equifax.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop strategies for customer retention and pipeline development

  • Own strategy execution and creating key operational goals and initiatives

  • Develop a deep understanding of consumer feedback, key customer and business partner input, and implications of commercial business volume; use that deep understanding to provide improvement opportunities and strategic solutions

  • Leverage data, trends and insights to improve the customer experience and maximize revenue 

  • Partner with Security and Technology, acting as a steward for protecting data assets 

  • Work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure that business requirements and consumer implications are understood

  • Facilitate and encourage open team communications; provide the team with the appropriate support and feedback mechanisms to foster growth and continuous improvement

  • Cultivate an inclusive and diverse workforce; build and maintain a positive organizational culture where team members are valued, respected, included and feel safe to bring their whole, genuine self to work


What Experience You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or Masters Degree preferred

  • 7+ years experience in commercial background, including P&L responsibilities

  • 5+ years as a people leader, with the ability to motivate teams (direct reports and leading via influence)

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for leadership, customer and industry events
