Director, Market & Customer Insights

The Director, Market & Customer Insights will research, compile, and analyze information on competitors, lines of business, and environmental market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities, as part of Equifax's strategic planning process or in support of strategy projects and market and customer insights programs. This is a highly visible role that offers tremendous engagement with internal stakeholders and is a vital piece of our corporate strategy initiatives.

This single-contributor role reports to the VP of Strategy & Marketing and will be a hybrid workplace model offering the ultimate flexibility to work remotely as well as in either of our office buildings in Alpharetta or Midtown!

What You’ll Do: 

  • Define metrics, refine and prioritize reporting, and build the predictive capabilities within the Marketing business intelligence group demonstrating creative thinking and bringing new ideas to the broader organization.

  • Work with Global Business Leaders to develop forward looking market insights and assess impact to implementation of current/future strategy 

  • Perform thorough market assessments and market sizing that support new enterprise opportunities; Support development, distribution and training of market intelligence best practices 

  • Develop  and publish thought leadership through analyses, white papers and presentations

  • Identify and track sources for market insight to optimize value of research spend to organization

  • Develop business cases and/or presentations to support market and business findings.

  • Serve as coordinator for the Market Insight Exchange program

  • Support the development and delivery of Customer Insights and administer vendor processes

What Experience You Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business-Related field, 

  • 5+ years of equivalent work experience from consulting and/or corporate side in corporate strategy

  • 3+ years of experience in providing impactful and insightful points of view, recommendations and insights regarding the future outlook of the sector/service lines. 

  • 3+ years in researching and analyzing  (quantitative and/or qualitative) new markets, as well as in writing and presenting business cases on new market and product opportunities

  • 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft/Google products, including word processing, presentations, data BI tools and/or spreadsheets.

  • 2+ years experience in requirements analysis, documentation, project work plan building, and implementation of large customer projects

What Could Set You Apart:

  • Experience practicing market research tactics and strategies, including data analysis and interpretation, research design, questionnaire design, analytic writing presentation and project management

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in Business-Related field

  • Familiarity with industry regulatory, compliance, and analytical issues and concerns.

  • Intangibles are big in this role - intellectual curiosity is highly preferred
