As the Director of Strategic Alliances & Corporate Development, you evangelise a Product-led strategy vision, and will be key to developing and delivering this vision. As a direct report to the Chief Product & Marketing Officer (CPMO), this is a highly visible role with regular, direct exposure to Global and International Senior Leadership and key stakeholders within the UK and globally. You are an exceptional senior leader with credible experience in developing and executing a Strategic Alliances and Corporate Development blueprint, building and managing partnerships that span multiple verticals and regions. 

You are an excellent communicator and seasoned presenter, with big influencing and collaboration muscles to create buy-in and execute the Strategic Alliances and Corporate Development vision across the business, including at the most senior levels. You are a critical and customer-obsessed thinker with strong analytical abilities, able to influence and deliver through others; and you relish the idea of collaborating across multiple teams and geographies to solve complex problems. You have a curious mind, an appetite for innovation, and the ability to engage, mobilise and excite our people. You have led and built teams and worked with business areas such as product and engineering/analytical teams through periods of growth as well as high ambiguity and structural change. 

What You'll Do

  • Develop and drive EFX’s growth and innovation agenda through Strategic Alliances and Corporate development  

  • Own the Strategic Alliances P&L and metrics/OKRs and the Corporate Development strategy for the region 

  • Develop, train and retain top talent to build a best in class team of Partnerships and Corporate Development managers, 

  • Develop, build and maintain a strong pipeline of Alliances and Corporate Development opportunities to support our Product-led strategy; 

  • Own the Strategic Alliances & Corporate Development roadmap at EFX. Work closely with cross functional teams to ruthlessly prioritise and facilitate data driven trade-off decisions to deliver on roadmap

  • Build a rigorous culture of customer obsession and innovation leading to delightful experience for partners, based on deep thinking, delivery focus, and data driven decision making; Maximise collaboration by building trust with cross functional teams 

  • Provide thought leadership and advise on partnering priorities, based on a deep understanding of the Product / business segment and the competitive landscape

  • Orchestrate alliance identification and selection processes in collaboration with Product/business areas and interlock champions in industries and geographies to fill capability/offering gaps.

  • Manage relationships for a portfolio of alliances, directly and through team members.

  • Oversee the Alliances delivery model, working with Operations, Technology and other teams; Support onboarding of new alliances; apply appropriate baseline assessment, planning, measurement, governance with partners and set clear rules of engagement.

  • Lead target account and joint account planning process and complete pursuit plan where relevant.

What experience you will need

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Credible experience in building and launching partnerships and alliances successfully; Corporate development experience will be highly valued 

  • Demonstrated experience in data and technology driven businesses in cloud-native environments

  • Data-savvy - demonstrated experience working in product environments heavily driven by data and analytics.

  • Ability to travel within the UK offices and client locations regularly; and to Europe/Atlanta corporate offices selectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders and being able to represent Equifax to clients and the market.

  • Ability to implement concepts, ideas and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment.

  • Attention to detail including precise and effective interpersonal communications, active listening, and proven ability to manage a variety of priorities simultaneously.

  • Comfortable presenting to an executive audience and commanding large, diverse cross-functional teams in a composed, poised and professional manner.
