We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our global team, responsible for optimizing software spend and ensuring compliance across a vast portfolio of renewals and new purchases.

This role requires exceptional data manipulation skills, a deep understanding of software asset management, and the ability to operate independently within a dynamic international environment.

What you’ll do

  • Formulate and execute best-in-class licensing, support, and negotiation strategies to optimize costs and mitigate operational and compliance risks.

  • Develop and execute data mapping and cleansing processes to clarify license positions, leading cross-functional teams through true-ups and audit responses.

  • Provide expert guidance on software contracting and license compliance to minimize operational risks and optimize costs.

  • Manage work requests, complexity, and productivity within defined Service Level Objectives.

  • Support the development and implementation of future state processes and workflow automation, including IT Asset Management (SAM) automation.

  • Verify software license entitlements, interpret contract use rights, and recommend strategies for license optimization and risk mitigation.

What experience you need

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in software contract negotiation, software asset management, or a related field.

  • Proficient ability to accumulate, organise, cleanse, and assimilate large amounts of information from multiple sources, demonstrating high-level Excel/Google Sheets skills for data manipulation and visualisation.

  • Demonstrated experience with software licensing models, compliance risks, and cost optimization, including license entitlement/deployment reconciliation.

  • Proven experience in leading or significantly contributing to high-dollar contract negotiations for software agreements.

  • Experience interfacing with legal teams on contract law pertaining to software licensing.

What could set you apart

  • Strong understanding of global enterprise software agreements.

  • Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), including its tools and technologies.

  • Experience managing a large portfolio of annual software renewals and negotiating new software agreements.
