What you’ll do

As a Pricing Manager you will be responsible for pricing management and the development and recommendation of pricing for strategic deals in Equifax Australia. This is a thought leadership role which influences all of ANZ pricing strategies and provides opportunity to engage with the whole ANZ team.Deliver thought-leadership on pricing within a large Equifax BU, region or countries

You will be providing high impact strategic analysis and modelling to support price differentiation and value-based selling. As a Pricing Manager you will be accountable for sharing  regular reporting to senior management on pricing performance, market trends, pricing benchmarks, and potential opportunities and strategic recommendations

You will administer the agreed pricing governance framework and monitor adherence to it. This role is important  in the delivery of customer value and the achievement of business goals through high quality analysis and insights.

We are looking for a well-rounded individual capable of building constructive and cohesive relationships with stakeholders from around the business; but especially within all layers of the sales team. You are commercially astute, naturally curious and energetic. You will translate your skills and experience into practical tools and insights that the business can execute against with confidence. You will be influential and passionate when negotiating deal strategy & analysis, opportunity forecasting and ensuring the agreed commercial structure is translated into executable contractual terms and be responsible for operational pricing and driving deal pricing strategy.

 What are we looking for?

  • Ability to lead strategic pricing engagements for Executive leadership, focused on optimising price position across market segments and key product lines

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies defined by senior management across products and segments.

  • Build and manage financial models to assess customer, contract and product/service profitability.

  • Effective presentation skills (including deck development) to report pricing performance, market trends and benchmark at an executive level 

  • Experience managing annual price increase programs, including billing table management, sales education, and customer communication and exception management

  • Expert partnership and collaboration skills with sales and marketing vertical leads to optimise price points across indirect and direct markets

  • Demonstrated experience in partnering  with finance to ensure revenue reporting and scorecards reflect pricing action

  • Experience collaborating with Sales Leaders, Client Deal Team (where applicable) and Managers to optimise pricing and terms for customer opportunities

  • Ability to drive deal engagement among key internal stakeholders for Major deal opportunities. Engage with legal organisations in establishing contract terms which will best protect contract/pricing value

  • Experience in providing leadership and mentoring to team members

  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills with strong stakeholder impact and influence skills 

  • Proficiency in google suite, tableau, excel. Includes strong level of competence in creating, managing and maintaining scenario modelling in google sheet

  • Ability to deal with rapid change and quick pace with resilience and a can-do attitude 

  • Ability to deconstruct complex analytical problems into an easy-to-digest format for key stakeholders in the decision making process

What could set you apart?

  • Experience in Airlines, Travel, Banks or Telco is preferred

  • Analytical and attention to detail with a commercial focus.  

  • High degree of accuracy and organisational skills. 

  • Experience in the analysis and interpretation of data, including report writing is essential 

  • Strong communication/presentation skills  coupled with strong written and verbal communication
