Synopsis of the role
Responsible for the design, development and implementation of short and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. Often involved in modifying or adapting existing designs. Reviews Technology requirements and business processes; code, test, debug and implements software solutions. Roles are often project based, delivering Technology change within the business.
What you’ll do

Lead moderately large or complex projects and ensure the success of application rollouts.

Determine and develop architectural approaches and solutions, conduct business reviews, document current systems, and develop recommendations of how to proceed with the applications.

Serves as the highest level technical architecture expert for software development / infrastructure teams at the program level.

Has extensive experience delivering IT solutions; developing designs and architecture documents that the rest of the SDLC teams can follow.

Develops and drives short & long term architecture strategy for the overall IT project portfolio for key business segments

Assists project teams in estimating the architecture design effort and in developing/ reviewing/ approving architecture designs.

Advises project teams on the application of standards/methodology practices to the project.

Communicates and validates programmer architecture with Technology, MO and Business executive level stakeholders

Uses a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts in multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems and critical design issues.
What experience you need
-
Total 12 to 15 years experience with minimum 3 years experience as an Architect.

Expertise with architectural frameworks.
-
Expertise with different architecture and design patterns and tools
-
Experience of working with Technical and Application Architects
-
Experience in reviewing and selecting Technical and Applications Architectures solutions
-
Security - Risk analysis and Threat modeling
-
BS/BE in computer science, engineering or relevant field
What could set you apart

Hands-on work in Java, Spring Framework Microservices, Cloud and Bigdata.

Minimum 2 year worked as Security Architect
-
Must have experience working across organizations to define architecture strategies and solutions.

Experience with on-prem to cloud migration

Solid experience working with diverse technology platforms

Must have at least AWS,Azure cloud experience and at least Google cloud knowledge

Successful mentor developers who are looking to become architects
-
Hands-on experience for at least 2 years or so on Microservices using Dockers and Kubernetes or OpenShift.

Should have strong expertise in SOA and Microservices based architecture

Need to have good experience with CI/CD pipeline
