3rd Party Data Assurance Manager

Come and join us as our new 3rd Party Data Assurance Manager where you will have direct responsibility for a new Business Analyst and will lead activities related to the Data Assurance of 3rd Party clients that use Equifax data under contract. In this new role you will gain an understanding of our new framework and implement this across the business. 

 

You will be a key player in driving the reduction of regulatory risk in the use of our data assets by a range of clients, developing and operating our 3rd Party Data Assurance framework as well as commissioning and directing 3rd party data assurance audits through approved independent auditors who will ensure we have oversight and transparency across key clients.

What you’ll do

 
  • Finalise, launch and operate our Third Party Data Assurance Framework that assesses non-conformance of contract across Equifax’s client base on a risk based approach

  • Establish and run a multi-disciplined forum to agree prioritisation of the audit programme, the results of audits and remediation plans

  • Prepare a monthly report for the Data Council and oversee the delivery of the report with any recommendations / escalations that are relevant

  • Attend and contribute to the organisation's third party forum.

  • Identify other 3rd party audits and strive to find efficiencies in the pursuit of audits for the organisation

  • Procure the services of an external audit company and be the point of contact for the relationship, managing it proactively

  • Manage the budget for external spend and report regularly on budget position

  • Build relationships with a group of key stakeholders from across the business that will support decision making, provide advice and take on board and action findings from the audit programme

  • Ensure excellent levels of record management regarding the audits, audit outcomes and remediation plans

 

What experience you need

  • Strong knowledge of and experience within industry leading data usage principles and practices gained within a highly regulated business

  • Good working experience of 3rd party audit programmes

  • Good experience working at multiple levels in an organisation facilitating successful delivery of projects

  • Good understanding of the need to optimise commercial returns with compliance

  • Strong talent developer running high performance teams
