What You’ll Do

  • You will lead a team that will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve great software

  • You will manage individual project priorities, deadlines and work you're doing

  • Partner with other technology teams to to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design

  • Partner with security partners to ensure applications are developed with the strongest security patterns. 

  • You will need extensive understanding of BDD/TDD practices, code review and analysis techniques, and open source agile testing frameworks.

  • You are part of a community and participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards

  • You should have a real passion for innovation!  Any experience with Cloud Platforms like GCP, Azure and Deploying and automating infrastructure/applications using Jenkins, Gradle, Nexus, Docker, Terraform, etc. will help us on our exciting journey

  • You must have experience in overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance

  • You will work with product owners, UX and other business partners to define work for the team

  • You enjoy mentoring other engineers, having a voice in defining our challenging technical culture, and helping to build a fast-growing team

What experience you need

  • BS or MS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience as a software engineer .Net, C#

  • 3+ years of experience in leading software development teams 

  • 5 + years of experience with developing or leading teams that developed high performing API systems and big data batch systems that packages TB/PB of data to customers.

  • 3+ years of experience in understanding security protocols and frameworks, class 3, class 5 and sensitive data types. 

What could set you apart

  • Source code control management systems (e.g. Git, Github) and build tools like Maven and Gradle

  • Developing with modern JDK (v1.8+)

  • Big Data, RDBMS and NoSQL databases 

  • Design patterns

  • Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP)

  • Software development best practices such as TDD (e.g. JUnit), automated testing (e.g. Gauge, Cucumber, FitNesse), continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, GoCD)

  • Linux command line and shell scripting languages

  • Cloud computing (Azure, GCP and AWS)

  • Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket)

  • Experience in developing applications with strong security requirements especially in the financial domain. 

  • Experience working with open source frameworks

  • UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Angular 11 and Bootstrap)
