Senior Director, Global Compensation Leader

The Compensation Leader will be instrumental in designing, improving and delivering competitive broad-based compensation programs that will align with EFX initiatives. We are seeking a strategic, innovative, and diligent people leader to drive thought diversity and collaboration across the team as well as be an influencer and partner to the business on a wide range of compensation topics.  

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborates closely with HR partners, Business Units, Legal, Finance and other stakeholders to understand the effectiveness of existing compensation programs, procedures, and systems developing pay strategies that are responsive to compensation trends and company objectives.

  • Leads compensation processes including:  global market pricing activities, salary structure updates, the annual pay review cycle and the company’s annual incentive plans. 

  • Evaluates market dynamics and adjusts pay strategies, guidelines and processes to maintain the company’s competitive position.

  • Oversees the implementation of new or revised compensation programs and policies. Ensures HR partners/business leaders have the knowledge, tools and guidelines to successfully manage change.

  • Directs a compensation team in consulting with HR partners and the business on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation, applying a consistent framework in providing advice on compensation-related business and retention needs.

  •  Maintains subject matter expertise on existing and proposed statutory compensation requirements, pay equity and transparency trends, and recommends the appropriate course of action.

What Experience you need

  •  10+ years of progressive experience in Broad-Based compensation design and administration including:

    • Global market pricing

    • Implementation of pay structures

    • Annual incentives and annual salary planning process.

  • 5+ years of experience engaging, coaching and leading strategic compensation teams

  • Demonstrated advisory, consultation, and partnership with business partners to resolve complex problems and recommend the best solutions for their clients.

  • Prior experience implementing compensation infrastructure and project management

  • Knowledge of current and emerging regulations as they apply to base and incentive compensation programs, company policies and operations

  • AIP and LTI knowledge

What Could Set You Apart

  • Technology or more specifically, FinTech industry experience is preferred

  • Proxy Analysis exposure
