What you’ll do:


As a Corrections Specialist  you will be responsible for managing correction requests relating to consumer and commercial credit information and public record information. You will be responsible for investigating and responding to correction requests received in relation to the data that is held by Equifax. A combination of your willingness to support your customer and problem solve will see you succeed in your role. 

You will be joining a friendly and inclusive team where you are encouraged to bring your authentic self to work. Your willingness to learn will invite genuine opportunities for growth and development. This role is Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm, with flexibility to work from home. Full training will be provided.


What are we looking for?

  • Ideally 6-12 months experience in consumer customer service/conflict management environment

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Demonstrated ability to display tact, diplomacy and confidentiality

  • Time management skills, working well to deadlines with minimal supervision

  • An eye for detail, excellent listening and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in a compliance focus setting with displaying high attention to detail 

  • Ability to work well under pressure and always maintain professional conduct.

  • A team player who has a positive attitude towards change and being flexible

  • Works well under pressure and possesses initiative to take on challenges

  • Ability to draft professionally written customer emails and letters


Extra points for any of the following:

  • Experience in a financial services, credit management or debt collection environment.

  • Previous experience in an outbound consumer contact center environment
