Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market

Equifax is seeking a Senior Product Manager who is dedicated to supporting our Credit Union and Mid-Market vertical and has a desire to work on a winning team dedicated to providing customers with the right resources to help them succeed.  Responsible for the overall performance of the product, overseeing it from inception and ideation through design, build, launch, growth, enhancement and eventual sunset.

In order to be successful, you must be able to create product roadmaps, identify delivery channels, direction of product, and product development needs, and create thought leadership for the vertical. Other key skills include influencing and collaborating with others in cross functional teams (D&A, technology, sales, fulfillment, product, marketing, finance, legal) to define product requirements ultimately bringing products and solutions to market.

What you'll do

  • Be the product evangelist and own overall product lifecycle including: market understanding through to development and launch with a strong focus on go-to-market strategy and support (to include development of commercial model, packaging, distribution and commercial viability)

  • Perform market sizing and segmentation to drive high potential opportunities, manage market feedback efforts to drive product direction and innovation 

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of customer, industry and partner needs through market and industry research and analysis including competitive analysis and market validation through review and testing of concepts with existing and prospective customers (voice of customer, customer advisory boards, etc.) 

  • Drive and manage prioritization of opportunities, lead identification of opportunities for strategic partnerships, build business cases and pitch ideas 

  • Drive product engagement and satisfaction - define key performance indicators and manage the product’s performance including attainment of revenue and margin objectives, product adoption and usage and engage in the collection of customer feedback

  • Advise on buy, build, partner approach, ensure solution demonstrates commercial viability

  • Establish the product strategy and resource planning, articulate the vision and ensure its alignment with strategy and goals

What experience you need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of skills and experiences with a minimum of 5+  years experience working in product management, consulting, or technical delivery

  • 2+ years of experience working with data, analytics, and/or highly regulated environment

  • 2+ years Product experience in mid-markets and/or credit unions highly preferred

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of customer needs through market and industry research and analysis, successfully collaborating with the customer to modify business efforts to best deliver value, outlining strategic alternatives based on an in-depth knowledge of the customer’s business environment

  • Forecasting and resource planning experience for complex projects or initiatives 

  • Experience creating business cases for new product concepts, aligning product roadmap to product strategy across the Product Delivery Value Stream and pitching concepts to all levels of the business 

  • Sophisticated critical thinking skills, leading others to solve complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions

  • Understanding of market segments as well as market data trends relative to the products to drive product performance and competitive differentiation.  Understands, tracks, distributes cross functional team critical product data for decision making: Customer usage and satisfaction, product operational metrics, competitive standing relative to other alternative solutions. 

  • Strong knowledge of competitive landscape to anticipate, articulating and driving high-potential opportunities that demonstrate competitive advantage
