Operations Senior Director, Talent Development

 

Job Description 

Equifax is hiring a Senior Director of Talent Development, to be located in its Earth City (MO) service center. The Senior Director of Talent Development will drive the strategy and execution of the Operations training program and operationalize the talent and performance strategy, processes, and tools to scale with the business needs and foster a learning culture.  This role will lead three areas of the lifecycle of our Equifax Workforce Solutions (EWS) product suite to support our Operations organization: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, Active Employment, and Post Employment. We are seeking an innovative HR, OD or Learning  professional with a center of excellence experience and expertise in building processes and implementing talent and performance solutions. 

What You'll Do

  • Manage Operations Training team managers, and direct reports, while overseeing the allocation of work and be accountable for the team performance against goals. 

  • Oversee and provide direction to the Operations Training teams in their development and maintenance of Operations training programs including creating content, developing customized training libraries, facilitating training programs, communicating change management, measuring effectiveness of training programs and effectively utilizing the learning management system (Workday Learning). 

  • Provide feedback, coaching, and mentoring, drive employee development, and perform additional people management activities.

  • Collaborating, partnering, and influencing key stakeholders to identify ways training can support them, while being aligned and engaged with leadership on operational goals and initiatives. 

  • Work closely with the HRIS (Workday) to collect and coordinate aggregate data for the talent pool and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) on internal career mobility strategy to ensure we are seeking internally first. Create process and design for internal talent pools that allows for easy succession decisions, access to talent for projects, assignments/ roles.

  • Design and facilitate Operations Senior Leadership team training as needed, and keeping a lens of fairness and ways to mitigate unconscious bias within the talent decisions

What experience you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Instructional Technology or Design, or related field;

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in talent/performance management, diversity, organizational development or related fields

  • At least 8 years of experience in managing Learning and Development, Training and or Human Resources professional employees

  • Minimum 3 years of developing and implementing talent practices and/or organization development solutions (from ideation through implementation and analysis)

What could set you apart

  • Well-developed consulting and advisory skills, including change leadership, needs analysis and learning impact analysis.

  • Experience in large, matrixed and multinational global organizations is preferred

  • Successful track record in managing complex, multi-dimensional projects, and proven success at building credibility quickly at all levels of the organization, including senior executives.

  • Masters degree

  • A deep understanding of talent management practices, methodologies and insights into talent and performance trends within the future of work. (Hybrid teams/ remote work).

  • Knowledge of how best to utilize current technologies, including Workday, to standardize talent practices globally to provide a global view of our talent
