Job Summary 

 

Equifax is looking for a  Security Operations Lead who will be responsible for defining operational processes, creating related documentation and metrics, rolling out those processes cross functionally, and holding the various stakeholders accountable for their aspects of participation. 

 

What you’ll Do:  

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Equifax’s business and technology capabilities.

  • Define and mature processes aligned with global corporate processes, in areas including:  security audit deliverables and risk management, vulnerability reduction/remediation, control gap assessments,  and more.

  • Work with Equifax Security and Technology teams to design and drive the delivery and execution of security metrics for presentation to the Senior Leadership team.

  • Develop audit-quality documentation for local security processes, training cross-functional stakeholders on their roles.  

  • Develop and support enhancements surrounding metric/dashboard reporting necessary to demonstrate performance and adherence to such processes.

  • Serve as a general technology and security subject-matter expert, advising on matters related to governance, risk, and compliance to your security and business colleagues.  

  • Assist fellow team members with other duties as needed and as your skill strengths allow.

 

What experience you'll need:  

  • Overall 8 years experience  working in  information security domains such as audit, risk management, control operations,  incident management, cybersecurity,  risk analysis, etc.

  • 3 yrs of  experience working with  process improvement and execution, metrics, and reporting 

  • 3 yrs of hands-on experience in Risk Management/compliance.

  • 1+ yrs of experience in supporting external audits, deliver artifacts and evidence.

What could set you apart :  

  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.

  • Program Management experience.

  • Familiarity / experience with cloud security.

  • Security or Technology certifications including but not limited to CISSP and CISM.

  • Fluency with Atlassian SCM Suite (Confluence/JIRA), ServiceNow, Qualys, SonarQube, HP Fortify on Demand (SAST), Dashboard tools (Tableau & Google Data Studio)

  • Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction.

  • Demonstrated skill and prior experience in developing, measuring, and maturing security operational processes such as security audit management, risk remediation, exception management, etc.

  • Experience as an information security auditor or experience participating in/preparing for audits (agenda, document requests, field-work/ interviews, etc.).
