Senior Analyst, Digital Marketing Analytics

Equifax has a new career opportunity for a strong Marketing Digital Insights communicator who thinks creatively, strategically, and will tie digital analysis directly to business goals. You must be comfortable with balancing strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution while working independently. You must be comfortable sorting through ambiguous marketing and sales data then proactively identify opportunities for our marketers. This will require excellent written and oral communication skills, data-driven deep dives and strong business/ marketing analytical acumen.

This role reports to the Director of Data Analytics & Marketing Operations and will be a hybrid workplace model offering the ultimate flexibility to work remotely as well as in either our office building in Alpharetta, GA or in Midtown!

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Structure and perform deep-dive analyses anchored on driving actionable outcomes. Marketers want to know what’s working and what’s not.  More importantly, they want to ACT on that data. Use your digital marketing savvy to find opportunities to capitalize on wins and address areas for improvement.

  • Demonstrate a strong background with B2B knowledge across marketing, advertising, analytics, audience discovery/ segmentation, measurement and data quality.

  • Utilize soft skills and effective communication skills to explain analysis, data trends and anomalies in a meaningful way to all levels of Marketing stakeholders. Requires substantial partnership in a heavy matrixed organization. 

  • Extract and dive into multiple datasets, uncovering insights and providing impactful recommendations to clients leveraging tools like Adobe Analytics, Content Square, Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, and more.

  • Work with new MarTech tools being adopted. You will be encouraged to expand your skills, test your analytical boundaries, validate new ideas and above all, contribute to delivering robust information driven insights.

  • Place marketing business questions in context relative to organizational strategies, and determine the best way to approach them with data as outlined in the four bullets below

  • Thinking strategically about the analysis approach and determining the most appropriate metrics and dimensions

  • Sourcing the data via Adobe Analytics, Content Square, Pardot, Salesforce, Demandbase and interpreting the results in context to business and marketing initiatives

  • QAing/troubleshooting the data as necessary followed by communicating the findings to the client

  • Building comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly reporting of business performance and develop dashboards to “read and react” to business performance

 

What Experience You Need:

 

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing data analysis presenting insights 

  • 3+  years of continuous work with digital analytics tools, such as Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics or similar digital analytics platforms. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field

  • 1+ years of experience extracting, cleansing and preparing data for analysis and visualization

  • 1+ years of translating data analysis into business and marketing optimization recommendations

  • 1+ years of experience defining KPIs and reporting requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Excel functions or Google Sheets with Aps Scripts 

 

What Could Set You Apart:

  • Experience data stitching or combining data from multiple sources without a unique identifier

  • Experience with any of the following data visualization tools or analytics programming languages:  Tableau, Data Studio, Salesforce, Pardot, R, SQL, Python, Google Analytics, Qualtrics, UserZoom, Big Query, Content Square, or Hotjar

  • Experience with taking a consultative approach, proactively building out relationships, and providing actionable solutions.
