The Program Manager - Strategy is responsible for all aspects of strategic development and monitoring activities including strategy development, strategic performance monitoring, and evaluation and recommendation of tactical strategies that align with our objectives.  This highly visible role works with core teams within Verification Services along with other Equifax business units and COEs.  The Program Manager - Strategy will leverage skills and knowledge of strategy development, finance, project management, technology, and BI analytics as required to lead and deliver the strategic objectives. 

What you’ll do:

  • Strategy Development & Planning: Lead the development and maintenance of the organization’s strategic plans and ensure our continued growth and profitability.  Coordinate input from senior and team leaders to facilitate integration of team plans.  Conduct periodic reviews to determine actual performance against target results and provide recommendations of actions to further optimize our strategies.

  • Strategic KPIs & Dashboard Management: Manage the development and maintenance of the reporting dashboard and package that informs our business unit leaders of our actual to planned performance.  Identify key insights and trends to support leadership decisions and tactical execution.

  • Strategy Evaluation: Lead evaluations on effectiveness of potential strategies that enable growth in new and existing markets.  Provide recommendations to leadership of the strategies that have the greatest potential to maximize the business performance.

  • Trend Monitoring: Perform ongoing monitoring to detect and understand changes in industry, competitive landscape, organizational positioning, regulatory, or consumer trends and analyze implications to the established strategic plans.  Provide recommendations for amendments to the established strategies based on acquired trend insights.

What experience you need:

  • 5+ years experience in consulting, strategy, marketing, or applicable corporate functions (e.g., Sales, Project Management, Operations, Finance)

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience communicating with all levels of an organization, Can explain complex concepts and ideas in simple language

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support team building and cross-functional interaction with the ability to influence others

  • Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined parameters

  • Able to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail and pragmatic execution

  • Experience with data, analytics, and BI tools
