Financial Analyst - Atlanta, GA:

The Financial Analyst role is responsible for supporting a corporate technology alliance function, working closely with business leaders and their leadership teams.  This role assists the leaders in the decision making process, providing insightful and action oriented financial analysis, applying best practices, and new perspectives to solve complex problems.  This role influences the actions and initiatives within the alliances they support to enable the function to achieve strategic and financial targets. This role supports implementation and execution of driver-based forecasting. This role will help define and lead cost efficiency initiatives in partnership with business leaders. This role interacts with the technology leadership teams to deliver financial information in a concise and meaningful manner, understanding customers’ perspectives and needs.  This role applies in-depth knowledge and experience for technology finance, maintains industry knowledge, and is able to influence technology teams towards a financial strategy. This is a highly visible role that offers incredible growth potential.

This role reports to the Senior Director - Global Product & Corporate Technology and will be a hybrid workplace model offering the ultimate flexibility to work remotely as well as in our beautiful office in Midtown!

What You’ll Do: 

  • Conduct moderately complex financial analyses and reports for department management.

  • Prepare and analyze major financial forecasts. May be assigned analyses in support of organizations annual budget process, expense/service fee/staffing forecasts, or statistical reporting. 

  • Provide proactive insightful financial analysis to enable the BU/COE to reach its short- and long-term strategic and financial objectives. 

  • Interface with senior management to deliver financial information in a concise and meaningful manner to foster effective decision making such as analysis of business trends/scenarios and key drivers, development of management reporting to analyze monthly financial and operating results and key metrics.

  • Participate in value-added planning, budgeting and forecasting activities. 

  • Analyze and track process improvement initiatives. 

  • Analyze and driving results for customer, product and/or business unit profitability. 

  • Work closely with the Management and Technology teams to track pipeline opportunities and prepare accurate forecasts. 

What Experience You Need:

  • University Bachelor degree in Finance or a related discipline and 2-4 years of experience in a finance-related capacity

  • 1+ years of Technology finance experience including preparation and presentation of complex business cases

  • 1+ years of experience with data visualization tool, Tableau

  • 1+ years of proficiency in Excel, Hyperion Planning and Essbase or similar financial ERP system

What Could Set You Apart:

  • Experience in Cloud-based IT environments

  • Experience with financial modeling (i.e. DCF)

  • Knowledge of Technology Infrastructure

  • Experience with consolidating financials from various BU's.
