As Senior End User Support Technician you will lead technical support to the Leeds office providing Level 1, 2 and 3 end user support to  internal users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, mainframes).  You will oversee and perform analytical, documentation-oriented tasks and hands-on technical tasks including design, implementation and management for Windows server and collaboration platforms (email, instant messaging and mobile device management).Create technical solutions for laptops and desktops to push end user innovation and Implement and manage backup, anti-virus systems, and system servers.

You will ensure all user accounts, distribution lists, security groups, and computer server accounts are secured as well as answer questions regarding system usage, systems status and downtime procedures, and manage escalations on-site.

What you’ll do: 

  • Primary role is to provide day-to-day technical support to internal staff through in-person interaction five days a week in the office. 

  • Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software systems issues. 

  • Provide effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of End User Technology hardware, OS and software. 

  • Act as the point of contact for all Leeds applications, laptop, mobility & printer user issues

  • Setup & configure laptops, mobile phones, monitors, printers and other IT-related systems

  • Install End User Computing devices in offices and cubes.

  • Record technical issues and solutions in ServiceNow

  • Communicate unresolved issues effectively to the next level of support with full troubleshooting documentation

  • Proactively identify and complete projects that add value to the department and/or our customers

 

What experience you need

  • Strong experience working in a fast paced environment, identifying, troubleshooting, resolve problems and multi tasking without supervision

  • Strong experience providing technical support to customers (ideally internal)

  • Good working knowledge of Win10, macOS 10.12-10.14, ActiveDirectory, Google Workspace,  iOS, Android

  • Good experience of providing hardware, application and system support, 1st, 2nd and 3rd level

  • Strong experience of ITIL processes

  • Good experience with automation, Powershell/Google App script

  • Good detailed technical knowledge in

    • Administration of Active Directory.

    • Active Directory

    • Office 365 and related technologies

What could set you apart 

  • Intermediate experience with Networking/Cisco switches, CCNA certified is an advantage.

  • Google Workspace certification

  • Microsoft Windows 10 Certifications
