Senior Project Manager

This Senior Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex and/or large projects for the Direct to Consumer (D2C) line of business within Equifax’s US Information Solutions (USIS) Business Unit.

As a project  delivery subject matter expert (SME), you will also be responsible for maintaining and updating our project governance processes and methodologies to provide consistent mechanisms for managing, communicating and executing projects within the group. Projects include (but are not limited to) strategic transformation,  business integration, new product delivery, consumer experience enhancements, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.   

What You Will Do

  • Drive a portfolio of complex projects and/or strategic initiatives.

  • Lead design, implementation and management of assigned projects.

  • Work with leadership and BU to deliver detailed designs for business cases and projects and Partner with effort sponsors and stakeholders to help define metrics and outcomes.

  • Perform project risk management analysis and recommend remediation actions.

  • Monitor and communicate program measures of success, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and senior management.

  • Provide guidance to junior project team members.

  • Manage the PMO governance process. 

What experience you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • 8-12 years of project management or related experience.

What could set you apart

  • Project Management or process improvement certifications (e.g. Lean Six-Sigma, PMP)

  • Experience designing, implementing and driving adoption of new processes

  • Corporate consulting or similar experience

  • MBA or other advanced degree

  • Excellent presenter and persuasive communicator.

  • Sophisticated critical thinking skills that lead others to solve complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovation solutions.

  • Self-starter that identifies/responds to priority shifts with minimal supervision.

  • Success employing influential leadership without direct lines of authority.

  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with superb attention to detail.
