Associate General Counsel, Kount
Location: Boise, ID
The Associate General Counsel position supports the business of Kount , an Equifax company, and will report directly to the Senior Vice President, U.S. Legal. In addition, the AGC will directly support Kount leadership as the legal subject matter expert for best outcomes, risk mitigation and successful transactions. As a member of the Kount Leadership Team, the AGC will directly contribute to both Kount's and Equifax's success!
This position will be located in Boise, with some travel to Atlanta required.
What You’ll Do:
Directly support the General Manager of Kount on a variety of business and legal matters as they arise
Provide strategic direction and leadership on complex enterprise deals
Provide day-to-day operational legal support on matters as they arise
Negotiation, deal structuring, validation of term against commercial and industry norms, and documentation
Build strong, collaborative relationships with business leaders, stakeholders, and the Legal Center of Excellence
Engage in departmental projects and initiatives to improve legal service delivery within the enterprise
Using diplomacy and an executive presence, anticipate legal issues, navigate sensitive topes and resolve conflicts
Experience You Have:
Law degree from ABA accredited law school and membership in good standing of any state bar
8+ yrs of relevant experience, a combination of large firm and in-house experience is preferred.
8+ yrs handling customer facing transactions and supporting multiple internal sales clients.
4+ yrs representing heavily regulated clients.
4+ yrs of experience in privacy regulations that deal with the use and handling of sensitive consumer information.
4+ yrs in transactions in the data, analytics, professional services, technology or financial services industries preferred, but not required.
