Director of Pricing Operations & Business Intelligence

Reporting to the VP USIS Pricing Leader, The Director of Pricing Operations & Business Intelligence is responsible for enhancing/automating a monthly reporting dashboard that tracks pricing KPIs used for executive reviews.  This position will also be responsible supporting various Pricing Operations functions including assisting in execution of pricing programs, managing/publishing Pricing List rates, and Ad Hoc pricing support. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data and interpret results.  The role will be a hybrid workplace model offering the flexibility to work remotely as well as in our state-of-the-art office building in Alpharetta, GA.

What you’ll do:

  • Create monthly business intelligence reporting/dashboards, to track pricing performance and pricing initiative success

  • Work with Pricing Leader to define and track the most impactful business metrics

  • Work closely with Strategic Pricing to manage and execute on pricing programs including, Price Modification Letter execution, billing table management, and sales education 

  • Lead key efforts in terms of data interpretation and trending; advise of guidance/direction based on independent data analysis

  • Work closely with Finance to ensure revenue reporting reflects pricing action

  • Manage Pricing Operations function to support updating Pricing List Rates and Opportunity to build self service Pricing tools.

What experience you need:

  • Bachelor's degree required.  Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics/Statistics preferred.  

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with business intelligence and analytics including extraction, modeling, presentation and visualization

  • 3+ years of advanced experience in Excel and date manipulation

  • 2+ years experience in Tableau dashboarding

  • 2+ years experience with analyzing data and characterizing information; and synthesizing data

  • Pricing background is a big plus

  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills (both “Hard” and “Soft” skills)

  • Master's degree or Finance/Accounting-related certifications
