Claims Clerk

As a Claims Clerk, you will handle various clerical tasks and help with data administration tasks. You will support the claims department by handling the miscellaneous clerical and administrative functions, such as faxing documents and processing incoming mail and other claim-related documents.

In addition, you will help deliver excellent customer service over the phone to both internal and external partners.

 

What you’ll do 

  •  You will assist management in resolving raised client issues

  • You will file documents according to supervisory direction

  • You will enter or key information into a computer for the Claims function

  • You will distribute documents to the appropriate personnel as needed


What experience you need 

  • You have completed the High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a professional office environment with an emphasis on organization of work duties and performing job functions independently


 

What could set you apart

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office PC applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well the ability to type 35 WPM or higher

  • Google Suite
