The Senior Director, Data and Analytics will leverage Equifax unique data and advanced analytics to drive growth and innovation within our Employer Services portfolio of solutions.  This position will be responsible for managing a team of data analysts and data engineers in driving the design and development of a host of innovative data assets focused on Human Capital & HR compliance management solutions.  You will be executing on key analytical projects and initiatives and working with partners to accelerate the growth of Equifax Workforce Solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Cultivate a high-performance, results-oriented team and manage large scale, highly influential projects ensuring milestones are met 

  • Develop the strategic roadmap for the Employer Services D&A team while also managing the highly technical work needed to achieve these goals

  • Produce best-in-class data assets and steer strategic decision making through data storytelling to senior leadership

  • Work effectively with customers, co-workers, and management to create new ideas for analytical offerings that better solve customer business problems. Elicit business domain expert feedback to facilitate exploratory data analysis with the highest impact to the business

  • Promote a culture of feedback, creativity, problem-solving, experimentation, innovation, and execution

What experience you need  

  • Advanced Degree in Business Analytics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or other related discipline required

  • An influential leader and internal consultant, highly effective collaboration skills, 8+ years of experience in corporate environments, 5+ years of broad experience in big data/analytics required, 3 years managing data analysts

  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to design algorithms, which may include data cleaning, data mining, data clustering and subsequent data visualization and analytics

  • Excellent executive presence and ability to create a story for an executive audience. Highly proficient in translating complex analytical concepts into relevant business concepts and for a non-analytical audience
