Lead Advisory Analyst

As Lead Advisory Analyst you will be critical to maintaining TDX’s position at the forefront of the advisory market. The key to our success has been the high quality flawless execution of projects for our clients and the ability to constantly innovate, demonstrating short and long term value.

You will play a key part in the Advisory team, both delivering and overseeing the analytical collections and recoveries Advisory projects and peripheral processes to ensure future success of the business line.

The role is to take the lead on analytical based Advisory projects from sales engagement, scoping, initiation to delivery, managing resources and the client to ensure a successful conclusion to the projects. You will also be expected to work closely with the wider Solutions and Design team and across the wider Equifax analytical community.

You will become a subject matter expert on specialist products such as controls and MI development and will therefore be expected to lead other analysts in the team with these initiatives.

You will act as the point of contact for public sector projects as well are private sector ones, and will be responsible for defining the requirements working closely with the Analytical Services side of the public sector work

What you’ll do 

  • Own and develop analytical advisory products. 

  • Deliver analytically led advisory projects, supported by a wide range of analytical, statistical techniques in preliminary analysis, including the development of standardized coding for insight analysis

  • Responsible for projects with an analytical slant from initial client discovery sessions, through proposals, SOWs, delivery and follow up

  • Timely delivery of all projects, flexible approach and being involved with several projects simultaneously – overseeing some and delivering on others

  • Responsible for the development of other analysts within the team in to ensure they learn and develop their skills and understanding

  • Identify and implement improvements to the existing proposition

  • Working with internal and external stakeholders effectively communicating and influencing at senior levels within client organisations and with client organisations

What experience you need 

  • Good Honours degree level qualification in a mathematical subject (subject such as Statistics/Maths/Science/Engineering/Economics)

  • Strong experience in a analytical product development role 

  • Strong  numeracy skills with a keen attention to detail

  • Intermediate problem solving and analytical skills with a high degree of analytical rigour

  • Good experience with database environments and data set manipulation particularly in SAS / SQL and Excel

  • Good experience leading analytical projects & being responsible for their output
