The Senior Information Systems Auditor will participate in the annual risk assessment process including identifying and assessing technology and business risks.  This role will also feature value-add advisory project work. This role is located at the Alpharetta office and offers a hybrid mix of remote and in-office workplace environments!

What you’ll do:

  • Designing and performing technical audits to validate that controls are adequate and functioning effectively within the organization's technology operations

  • Determining the operation's consistency with technology organizational objectives and standards through various verification procedures and methods

  • Demonstrating the ability to identify internal control risks, business risks, and operational cost reduction opportunities

  • Preparing concise and well organized working papers which accurately reflect the audit tests performed

  • Discussing preliminary audit findings with management directly responsible for resolution

  • Preparing reports on the results of the audit and providing recommendations on improvements

What experience you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a relevant field from an accredited college/university
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in any of the following: internal or external IT audit, risk assessment, business process reengineering, IT Security, and IT Strategy, 

  • Working knowledge of technology and audit principles and procedures (COBIT)

 

What could set you apart:

  • PCI-DSS, or NIST compliance is a plus
  • Big Four or Regional firm experience is a plus
  • Cloud Security, Governance, and/or Architecture knowledge is a plus
  • Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA and/or CPA preferred
