It is an exciting time to join TDX Debt Services in 2022, with a newly formed dedicated senior leadership team we are driving forward a rapid rate of growth and as our new Financial Analyst you will be an integral support to the business. You will do this by providing hands-on financial planning including forecasting and cost analysis with our public and private sector clients partnering closely with Sales and the wider business including your financial partners in our Leeds office. 

We are looking for someone who is part qualified as a minimum and we will happily offer support to complete your training to become fully qualified.

What you’ll do 

  • Act as a point person for all finance support required for reporting, financial analysis and performance analysis 

  • Develop and maintain models to evaluate financial and operational analysis, ensuring accurate, consistent and timely information is produced.

  • Coordinate monthly/weekly financial and KPI reports for the business on a timely basis, playing a key role in the budgeting and forecast process

  • Support the reporting of business performance and scenario analysis 

  • Provide detailed schedules and analysis for review with the Senior Leadership Team

  • Write monthly forecast commentary giving causation factors 

  • Support specific areas of responsibility with detailed cost analysis/forecast and helping drive the budget owners to hit their cost challenges

  • Analysis of time bookings across the business, highlighting areas of concern

  • Improving the business focus and presentation of information

  • Ad-hoc projects which require financial input/advice, analysis and interpretation of financial results

What experience you need

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) 

  • Strong Microsoft Excel/ Google Sheets skills

  • Intermediate experience within a Commercial Finance or Analytical role

  • Intermediate experience in data manipulation and analytical competency, ability to draw conclusions and find trends in data

  • Strong knowledge of business performance appraisal and financial analysis

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships across all levels, with the strength to push back as appropriate

  • Good experience working towards deadlines and handling multiple priorities
