This position will be responsible for developing a strategic working relationship with the Trustees, Executive Director, the member agencies as well as the vendors that work to support and grow the Trust program while helping them to achieve their strategic goals. The position requires the ability to lead, persuade, and consult others. Primary responsibilities involve: consulting with four Trust Accounts regarding unemployment liability and savings opportunities, fostering customer loyalty through ongoing evaluation of client needs and EWS solutions, demonstrating value of services, and negotiating renewals. Assist Trust to retain and grow their membership. Ideal candidate has a strong professional presence, is tenacious, and ability to organize, manage time and multi-task. This position is client-facing and requires travel.

The Trust accounts currently utilizes the EWS UI services, EWS Learning Solutions and the pan product. These Trust accounts are nonprofit agencies that utilize the reimburse method of paying their UI expenses. The ability to travel 20% is required.

What You'll Do:

  • Assists with the development of strategic business plans for the Trust that meets their goals;

  • Analyzes monthly, quarterly and annual reports to demonstrate value and participate in client meetings; Provide the metrics in a format acceptable to the Executive Director and keep the Strategic website dashboard current as directed; Interface with the Trust, its membership, vendor partners and EWS staff to identify client needs, trouble shoot and facilitate solutions

  • Take the lead when confronting major claims issues to determine the solution that will best resolve the issue such as paying a claim or a portion there of to resolve a serious situation; Retention of the member and most importantly the Trust should be heavily considered during this process; Keep the Claims team, the charge unit and CDS up to date with frequent Trust member listings so they can assess information that may be missing from Pinnacle

  • Build a trusting and professional relationship with the Trustees, Executive Director, the Trust membership and the vendor partners;

  • Attend quarterly client meetings to present UI results on a year to date basis; Attend via phone weekly planning meetings with the Executive Director and the other service vendors to address agenda items provided by the Executive Director.

  • Provide monthly UI Tips to the agency key contacts and claims contacts;

  • Help agencies with special UI issues such as Seasonal employment, contractor /consultant vs. employee status and reasonable insurance; The TRUST CRM is to work with the EWS Trust dedicated claims team and to meet with them periodically during the year to provide them with an update on the client and to get their feedback on service issues; The key to the retention of this account is to be personable and professional while earning the trust and respect of the Executive Director, Trustees and the other vendor partners

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years account management exposure, or sales experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
