Instructional Designer/Trainer of Implementations

The Instructional Designer/Trainer of Implementations is responsible for training employees on platforms, concepts, and processes.  In addition to training delivery, the Instructional Designer/Trainer will also be responsible for content and resource development. 10-20% travel may be required, based on company initiatives. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Instruct newly hired employees on the specifics of their particular job.

  • Translate complex processes, procedures, etc. into interesting and effective training programs.

  • Work closely with peers, Managers, and Directors to determine training needs and communicate progress regularly.

  • Support change management through intentional content design and communication plans/development. 

  • Learn new procedures or computer based applications and develop and implement a training plan. 

  • Generate ideas and develop training materials to enhance the customer’s experience and evaluate training progress and adjust training methods as needed.

What experience you need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development or a related field.

  • At least one year of experience delivering training preferably in a large corporation. 

  • At least one year of experience designing learning content through various channels.

What could set you apart

  • Proficiency in Windows based technology and the Google suite of applications.

  • Proficiency leading live webinars and in person training of all sizes.

  • Ability to design and create presentations in PowerPoint, Google Slides and Articulate 360.

  • Ability to use various programs and media to create effective messaging and communications.

  • Videography and graphic design skills are a plus, but not required.
