Data Fabric Migration Leader

The Data Fabric Migration Leader owns the coordination of D&A-led business transformation tasks for all data sources leveraged by USIS, with the exception of those owned by the Enterprise Identity & Fraud team. Candidates should be courageous, tenacious, creative, optimistic and curious, and they should have a demonstrated track record of business-minded leadership.  This Atlanta (Georgia)-based role will report to the Vice President, USIS Data Strategy, Partnerships & Governance, and serve as an individual contributor.

What you’ll do

Program management and facilitation of USIS Data resources to complete all business transformation tasks, including:

  • Generally serve as USIS Data’s single point of contact across all business transformation activities. Attend all key recurring meetings as the team’s ambassador; thoroughly understand all work streams that are taking place and the implications to our team; and actively negotiate outcomes in USIS Data’s best interest.

  • Ensure milestones and deadlines are continuously aligned between USIS and Enterprise teams, maintaining a change management process that ensures updates are reasonable and are clearly and timely communicated.

  • Identify and address any risks, contingencies and dependencies to the USIS Transformation program office so that tradeoff decisions can be made effectively.

 

Status reporting of all USIS Data transformation tasks, including:

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive tool to monitor the status of all work being driven by USIS Data resources.

  • Ensure that all USIS Data team members update this tool on a regular basis to guarantee accuracy and completeness.

  • As appropriate, make the tool (and other derivative reports) available to the USIS Data Leadership Team, to the USIS Transformation program office and to other Equifax stakeholders.

  • Serve as a member of the USIS Data Leadership Team, charting the organization’s strategic course and growth trajectory.

  • Be a thought leader for the company, replicating data best practices across the consumer credit data lifecycle.

  • Constantly network with senior sales leaders and other COE executives to identify new opportunities and points of synergy.

What experience you need  

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience with industry-leading lenders and/or data companies, with a proven track record of excellence and business-minded leadership.

  • 2-3 years of demonstrating knowledge and experience leading a multiple disciplinary team within a larger project and collaborating with IT team

  • Experience in simultaneously managing the expectations of multiple internal and external customers, with perspective on managing competing incentives.

  • The ability to align departments and individuals with competing agendas to do great work within tight timelines, and without sacrificing the essential objectives of our projects.

  • The ability to manage multiple high-impact projects at the same time.

  • The ability to understand complex technical information and articulate it in effective and appropriate ways to broader audiences. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
