The Mortgage Alliance Manager, Verification Services is responsible for Partner relationship, engagement, and revenue growth for Verification Services products. This includes selling solutions directly to partners, partnering on distribution, collaborating on joint innovation and development, building joint sales pipelines, and ensuring the partner is successfully selling to the end customer.

What you'll do:

  • Drive mutual growth through strong Alliance Partner Relationships with highly complex and strategic initiatives focusing on Verification Services products

  • Orchestrate internal resources and partner counterparts to drive joint innovation, development, and/or selling activity

  • Define and execute sales strategies with/to the Partner that drive profitable growth while delivering meaningful Partner value 

  • Identify and execute new partnerships that lead to new joint products and offerings 

  • Establish viable short- and long-term growth opportunities with Partner, and develop plans to convert opportunities into new business, revenue and market share 

  • Develop strategic plan for the Partnership, ensuring the Partners are aligned to the vision and strategic objectives 

  • Collaborate with Partner to actively engage, identify, develop and execute innovative and highly strategic partnership growth opportunities, including but not limited to product changes, new solutions, and new lending tools / models

  • Foster strong working relationship with Partner stakeholders, especially across sales, marketing and product strategy

  • Drive governance and management of relationship and facilitate business and revenue reviews 

  • On occasion, engage senior leaders and decision makers internally and within client accounts 

  • Interpret contract and manage contractual obligations; establish, monitor and report on metrics and milestones; negotiate changes to contracts and agreements 

What experience you need :

  • A minimum of 7+ years of mortgage industry experience is highly preferred, with an intrinsic knowledge of the mortgage value chain (including, but not limited to, verification services, mortgage marketing, account management, property valuation, mortgage underwriting, regulatory/compliance frameworks, and capital markets). 

  • 3+ years experience with GSEs and / or detailed knowledge of the GSE lending rules and guidelines

  • Bachelor’s required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Travel – up to 15% of the time, required -- Customer, prospect and partner meetings, team meetings, industry events and conferences

  • Extensive experience and expert skill in managing sales relationships, with a clear and proven ability to communicate and build relationships with both senior level mortgage executives and front line employees

  • Proven aptitude in creating and delivering effective executive-level presentations. Additionally, demonstrates confidence in manipulating large amounts of data to clearly communicate the value of the Verification solutions to Equifax’s Mortgage clients.   

  • Proven strategic planning skills including the translation of strategic ideas into executable actions.  Experience and accountability for managing and influencing cross-functionally in sales, operations, data & analytics, marketing, product management and technology. 

  • Full PC literacy including the customer relationship management system (CRM) and Google Suite, preferred
